What a chauffeur-driven rental includes
The rate covers the vehicle and the driver. Fuel, parking and any entrance fees are usually settled separately with the owner, and long-distance days normally include the driver’s meals and accommodation. The vehicle listing spells out which arrangement applies, and you can ask before you book.
Drivers on the platform are the owners themselves or people they employ and vouch for. They know their own vehicle, which matters more on a wet night on the A5 than any corporate badge.
When a driver is worth it
Airport pickups at three in the morning, a wedding where nobody should be parking, a week of touring with four stops a day, or a business visit where the back seat is an office. All of these are easier with somebody else at the wheel.
If you would rather drive yourself, the same vehicles are often available self-drive, and foreign licence holders can get a recognition permit through ROFI in one to two working days.

Rates depend on the vehicle and the length of the trip. The vehicles on this page show their owner’s live daily rate, and longer bookings are usually priced down.
Does the driver stay with us for the whole trip?
Yes. For multi-day trips the driver stays with the vehicle and the owner will tell you how meals and accommodation are handled.
Can I book a car with a driver from the airport?
Yes. Set your pickup location to Bandaranaike International Airport or Negombo and the owner will meet your flight.
Do I need a driving licence to book?
No. If somebody else is driving, you need no licence or permit at all.
